2023 Chevrolet Colorado

For the 2023 Chevy Colorado, five trims are available: WT (Work Truck), LT, Trail Boss, Z71, and ZR2. The entry-level WT rolls down the road on ultra-silver metallic 17-inch steel wheels wrapped in all-season tires and includes eight fixed pickup bed tie-downs and a CornerStep rear bumper. Next in the line-up, the LT sits atop 17-inch aluminum argent metallic wheels and features a body-colored rear bumper, front fascia, and door handles. Choose the Trail Boss, and you will get 18-inch aluminum black-painted high-gloss upgraded wheels, black recovery hooks, and black bowties.

If you upgrade to the Z71, features and upgrades include 18-inch dark android-painted full-gloss aluminum wheels, red recovery hooks, LED fog lights, headlights, and taillights. The exterior features finish up with the ZR2, adding a tailgate with watertight, lockable storage, 17-inch graphite and oxide gold aluminum wheels, rocker panel protectors, and underbody skid plates.

One engine is available across the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado line. You get a turbocharged 2.7-liter inline four-cylinder engine coupled with an eight-speed automatic transmission that will churn out 237 horsepower and 259 pound-feet of torque. The Plus version of the Colorado has the same engine but has tweaked it a bit to produce 310 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque.

Drive mode selection leads off the performance features with the following drive modes: Normal, Baja, Terrain, Tow/Haul, and Off-Road. You can easily select any of these modes to adjust the configuration to match your preferences or the current conditions. The Off-Road Performance Display can easily track your driving performance off the beaten path in real-time. Rear-wheel drive is standard for all trims, but you can opt for all-wheel drive if that better suits your needs.

Once inside the 2023 Chevy Colorado cabin, you'll experience a design meant to bring out the best in comfort and convenience. Beginning with the spartan WT trim, you'll find interior features like an 11.3-inch center touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, a Wi-Fi hotspot, a power-adjustable driver's seat, a remote keyless entry with a push-button start, built-in Google, and an 8-inch digital driver information display.

The LT features a premium leather-wrapped steering wheel, a center console, rear air vents, and power windows. Move up to the Z71, and you will find the console and 110-volt pickup power outlets. Finally, the ZR2 gets you heated front seats, an 11-inch digital driver information center, and optional ventilated front seats.

Chevy Safety Assist is included in every trim of the 2023 Chevy Colorado. This suite of safety features comprises automatic high-beam assist, following distance indicator, front pedestrian braking with bicyclist detection, forward collision alert, automatic emergency braking, and lane keep assist with lane departure warning.
