The Chevy Tahoe uses its size to its advantage. The alloy wheels range from 18 to 22 inches in diameter, depending on the trim level, and the wheels and grille carry a dark black finish. The 2022 GMC Yukon comes standard with LED headlights and taillights, although it no longer offers 22-inch wheels, only 18 to 20-inch options.

Engine

The Chevrolet Tahoe comes with three distinct power-plant options. The 5.3L V-8 engine generates 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, the 3.0L inline-six turbodiesel engine produces 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, and the 6.2L V-8 engine produces 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque in the High Country. These engine options are quite comparable to the Yukon's, but the Tahoe wins out in towing, with a maximum towing capacity of 8,400 pounds and stronger pulling figures on both of its alternative engines.

Safety

The 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe comes standard with a forward collision alert with pedestrian detection system, city-speed automatic braking, a following distance indicator, LED headlights with automatic high beams, and rear park assist. The Yukon only now features LED fog lights, lane change warnings, and other features that have been optional on the Tahoe.
