2021 Chevrolet Spark

The 2021 Chevrolet Spark comes in four trim levels, which are LS, 1LT, Activ, and 2LT. The base trim comes equipped with exterior features that include 15-inch steel wheels, manually adjustable black side mirrors, body-color door handles, a chrome front grille, halogen projector-beam headlights, and a rear spoiler. Stepping up to the 1LT adds 15-inch alloy wheels and heated and power-adjustable side mirrors, while additional chrome exterior accents are available as part of a package. With the sportier Activ trim, features include LED daytime running lights, fog lights, roof rails, protective door plates, a custom front grille, black exterior accents, a unique set of bumpers, its own set of 15-inch alloy wheels, and a different suspension that adds nearly half an inch to the ground clearance. With the top 2LT trim, you get chrome accents and keyless ignition.

Every 2021 Spark comes equipped with a 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 94 pound-feet of torque and 98 horsepower. It pairs with a five-speed manual transmission as standard, while a continuously variable transmission is available across all four trim levels. The engine is quite efficient, returning an estimated 30 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway.

When it comes to performance, the Spark is impressive in several key categories. The first is fuel economy, which is an appealing aspect for those who want to save at the pump. This compact hatchback also fits into tight spaces, making it a great model for city driving and parking. While the powertrain isn't the quickest or most responsive in the segment, the drive is comfortable and the Spark is easy to handle and maneuver.

With the base trim, cabin features include cloth upholstery, manually adjustable front seats, a four-speaker audio system with Bluetooth connectivity and dual USB ports, a 7-inch touch screen with Chevy's Infotainment 3 system, and single-zone manual climate control. Moving up to the 1LT adds power accessories, remote keyless entry, steering-wheel-mounted audio and phone controls, and a six-speaker sound system. Choose the Activ to get heated front seats, simulated leather upholstery, proactive interior door plates, and a few unique styling enhancements. With the top trim, additional features include an upgraded driver information display and satellite radio.

Across the board, all 2021 Chevrolet Spark models come equipped with 10 air bags throughout the cabin, stability and traction control, a rearview camera, anti-lock brakes, and OnStar emergency communications with an onboard Wi-Fi hotspot. The top trim also includes rear parking sensors as standard, and you can add the Driver Confidence package to get forward collision alert with automatic emergency braking and lane departure warning. The bundle is only available on Spark models with the CVT.
